Crafted in Mumbai

The finest in luxury dress shirts.

For the gentleman who wears his standards on his sleeves. Signatario shirts are tailored from finer-than-120 thread-count cottons, sourced from the best global mills and finished by hand in Mumbai.

Why Signatario

Quality you can feel in the cuff.

Three things separate a Signatario shirt from the racks. They are the three things we refuse to compromise on.

01

Fabric, not finish

Our shirts begin life as 120-thread-count-and-finer cottons from the world's most respected mills — Albini, Thomas Mason, and a handful of others. The hand of the cloth is what you feel first; everything else is in service of it.

02

The split-yoke shoulder

Each shoulder is cut in two halves on the bias and rejoined down the back seam. The result: arm movement that doesn't fight you, a clean drape across the shoulder blade, and a shirt that lies flat over an entire day at the desk or in meetings.

03

A collar that stands

Our interlinings are fused under perfect process control to keep the collar firm and upright from morning to evening, whether you're tying a tie or wearing it open. The first thing seen is also the last thing to sag.

The Collection

Three families. One standard.

From the boardroom to the wedding, our shirts are organised around the moments they live in.

From the Press
"The hand of a Signatario shirt is reason enough to give up everything in your wardrobe that isn't one. The collar still standing at 9 pm is the second."
— A Mumbai-based menswear journal
The Atelier

From the bolt to your collar, by hand.

Each shirt passes through twenty pairs of hands before it leaves our Mumbai workshop. Cloth is rested, cut, single-needle stitched, button-attached with a wrapped shank, and pressed on shaped boards. We do not rush this process, because the things you notice in a shirt are the things that take time.

The label sewn into the back yoke is the last step. We choose to spell it out: Crafted in Mumbai for the gentleman who knows the difference.
